While infrastructure and architectural advancement are crucial for nation-building, it is imperative that this development respects natural resources and the environment and helps inhabitants connect with nature. This category seeks landscape design interventions that respect and preserve local indigenous varieties of plants, utilise rainwater harvesting and natural drainage systems and create comfortable micro-climates.
