Entry Rules & Regulations
- Participants must upload their entries on the microsite in PDF, JPEG or PNG format only. It is an online submission.
- Entries can also be submitted by email at kbda@kohler.com. Entries submitted over email must include the following details: designer's name, firm's name, contact details, point of contact, company website, category and project description (in 300 words or less) along with the project location.
- Submissions must include sketches, plans, elevations and before and after images of the space (optional) with professionally shot pictures (interiors and exteriors).
- The number of pages in the PDF/Images should not exceed 10. The total file size should not be greater than 50 MB.
- The project should be described as per the guideline questions in a document in 300 words or less. All information on the project must be addressed through ONE sheet of the PDF only.
- The project must be absolutely complete and based in India.
- The project should not be more than 3 years old (not older than 2021).

- Projects that have won or been nominated in previous KBDAs are not eligible to re-enter.
General Rules and Regulations
- The project entered should not be more than 3 years old (not older than 2021).
- All entries should be original creations and indigenously produced. Copies and direct inspirations will be disqualified.
- All entries will be assessed on their finish (if completed), functionality and originality.
- Entries must be submitted by individuals. If an organization/interior or architecture firm chooses to apply, they must nominate an individual/the principal architects or firms.
- More than one entry per designer is permitted under the same account.
- Incomplete entries will NOT qualify.
- The last date for submitting entries is 01/07/2024
- Categories may be changed or altered at the discretion of Kohler.

- The submissions for your entry must be in image or PDF format with a file size of less than 50 MB.
- By submitting an entry, the participant acknowledges and agrees to their personal information being a part of Kohler India's database. These details shall be used for sending commercial information.
- Directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents of Kohler India, including its subsidiaries and business associates, as well as their immediate kin are not eligible to participate.
- You hereby agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Kohler India, its employees, directors, officers, agents and their successors and assigns and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including attorney's fees, caused by or arising out of claims based upon the entrant's actions or inactions, including but not limited to any warranties, representations or undertakings or in relation to the non-fulfilment of any of its obligations under this Terms & Conditions or arising out of your infringement of any applicable laws, regulations, intellectual/proprietary rights including but not limited payment of statutory dues and taxes, claim of libel, defamation, violation of rights of privacy or publicity, loss of service by other subscribers and infringement of intellectual property or other rights.
- Any dispute arising out of this transaction shall be settled through arbitration. The place of arbitration shall be Gurugram and the Arbitration proceedings shall be in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The same shall be conducted by the sole arbitrator. The arbitrator shall be mutually appointed by both the parties.
- It is explicitly agreed and understood that entries once submitted cannot be cancelled, refunded or withdrawn.
- The decision of the judges shall be final.
- Kohler India is eligible to nominate directly and reserves the right to cancel/modify/extend/discontinue the contest without providing any reason or prior notice.
- Kohler India may at any given time, modify the terms and conditions contained on this site without prior notification. You can access and should regularly review the latest version of the Terms & Conditions.
- By submitting your entry, you hereby agree to abide by the Terms & Conditions mentioned herein, our Privacy Policy and all applicable laws and regulations.

Notwithstanding other legal remedies that may be available
to Kohler India, Kohler India may in its sole discretion
immediately remove or disqualify any entry:
- If you are in breach of any of the terms and conditions provided herein;
- If you have provided any wrong, inaccurate, incomplete or incorrect information or detail;
- If your actions may cause any harm, damage or loss to Kohler India.
- Use of this site is unauthorised in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these Terms & Conditions, including without limitation this paragraph. You agree to indemnify and hold Kohler, its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers and employees, harmless any claim, demand, or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, asserted by any third party due to or arising out of your use of or conduct on this site.
- You hereby give Kohler absolute, unconditional, perpetual and irrevocable right and permission to use and publicize your name and any content submitted by you.
- If any of the above requirements are not complied with, the entry shall be nullified anytime at the discretion of Kohler India.
- Any complaints need to be addressed in writing within 15 days of the announcement of the shortlist.
- Disputes are subject to jurisdiction.
